We offer the main Brickmakers room and stage for hire Monday through to Thursday on selected dates, as well as B2 Venue for Weekdays and Weekends for all original bands

The use of our backline as you require

This fee is required to be paid upfront and will be refunded upon cancellation provided that 28 days notice is given. If the event is canceled less than 28 days in advance your fee will be retained by the venue to cover costs.

We have a full backline that you are welcome to use… It consists of 2 x Crate Guitar Amps, 1 x Peavey Bass Combi and Drum Kit (You will need Snare and Breakables!!) Full list available on request

**Door Cover – You would need to arrange for someone to be on the door to take the money and to keep the doors closed while the bands are playing, this is essential as the doors act as a sound lock for the room and therefore have to be closed. Both doors must be closed at all times and the person you have in the lobby must stay in the lobby at all times  – IMPORTANT NOTE – Should this not happen the gig will be closed down there and then. We can supply someone to do the door for you for see above

***We would also like to make you aware that we do not allow any type of hardcore dancing. So spin kicking, windmilling and any other hardcore move is banned for the safety of all of our customers.


Door Entry price – The price you set for entry is up to you and you can keep all of the money you take on the door for yourself or to share with the other bands…

However you need to make sure that any acts you book are aware of what you are planning to pay them, to save any confusion or them to think we were not paying them.

Set times are up to you. As long as you don’t exceed the curfew. Our recommendation is 3 bands (better if 2 are local) and they play for about 40 minutes each.

You can arrange your own ticketing – we ask for regular updates on how sales are going

If you wish us to arrange ticketing you will be subject to any fees that are incuured, and this will be deducted from your ticket price

You must advertise the gig… It is up to you to get people through the door, we advertise in the local listings magazine, including Grapevine and Gig n Grub Guide, on the internet, on Facebook, Outline and many more, but you must do your fair share as well.

Finally should less than 20 people (Not Bands) turn up to the gig please be aware that there is very high likelihood that the gig will be cancelled due to the costs of the room not being met.

Load In

  • Usual load in is 5pm, to be confirmed with the venue
  • Standard soundcheck is 7pm
  • Earlier load in time/soundcheck time can be arranged upon request
  • Load in from the front of building, through double doors under smoking shelter.

There are car parking spaces for 50 cars in the venue car park

Tour Buses
